There's a new rider on the road. Mattea is now the proud owner of a "big girl bike." Finally, we graduated from the trike to a bike. Daddy stopped by George's Bike Shop today on his way home from the zoo only to find this great deal. Mattea, from all accounts, took to it immediately - pedaling faster and faster with each turnaround. Problem - ummmm, she can't quite use the breaks. I guess that will come. And, Franklin the cow rides with her which she is happy about. I can't wait to see her in action since I missed the days events because of work.

Way to go, Mattea! If she hasn't quite figured out the brakes, mom, you better stock up on band-aids for those skinned knees that are coming!
