There's No Going Back Now

I did it everybody! I can't believe I did - but it is done. I pushed the button, I completed the transaction and......

I just registered for my very first half marathon. After taking 4 weeks off due to a nasty cold/sinus infection, and heel injury, I decided to jump right back in and see if I could in fact pull it off. After not running for nearly a month, I came back to have a 25 mile week and felt awesome about each run - so with less than 7 days to go, I decided to commit.

I am extremely nervous about this event since in all technicality I have never run 13.1 miles before but.....

I got through childbirth so I can do this right?

I'll let you know at the end of the race which one is worse.

Philippians 4:13 will be my motto!

Wish me luck!

There's nothing to be nervous about. You've done all of the work, the hardest part is getting to the starting line. Just take it all in and enjoy the day. You will be crossing the finish line before you know it.

Congratulations!!!! Becky (Ryan's cousin's wife) just ran a 1/2 marathon and she survived--you'll do great! I don't know what would possess you to think this sounds like a good idea, but I'll support you nonetheless! Think positive thoughts! (P.S. not worried about the late baby gift--besides, I'm still supposed to be pregnant, so it's not really late, right??)
