Since leaving Albuquerque, Dave and I crave the food that we once took for granted. Green chillies, smothered burritos, tamales... I could go on. We have been sampling some of the Mexican restaurants here but haven't found real authenticity - until the other night. We visited a restaurant near our house for Dave's birthday. Although it still wasn't up to the standards of New Mexico, it came pretty close. We liked it a lot - especially Paloma who was totally digging the chips and beans. Mattea - well she ordered a hamburger.

Mattea sounds like Aunt Kim--can't go too far away from the norm and try something new :-)
